Palmar National Park and Preserve near the town of Colón in Entre Ríos, aims to conserve a representative sample of the extensive palm groves that until the end of the last century extended throughout the area. These palm trees, up to 12 meters high, have leaves 2 feet long with stems about 40 cm in diameter. Many of these issues reach 200 years old. In this captivating wide park rich in flora and fauna, we find a special contrast is that between the palm groves and gallery forest along the river and streams.
There are several trails to know the park, some to be traveled by car and foot.
