Ischigualasto Provincial Park (Valle de la Luna) in San Juan and the National Park Tampalaya in La Rioja, Argentina, are next to each other, and both paleontological and archaeological sites are of great importance. Vertebrate fossils, footprints and remains of dinosaurs, impressions of ferns and trunks of petrified araucarias are just some examples that show its relevance. Palmar National Park and Preserve near the town of Colón in Entre Ríos, aims to conserve a representative sample of the extensive palm groves that until the end of the last century extended throughout the area. Declared “Patrionio World Natural Heritage by UNESCO, is a sublime spectacle. Argentina’s Tren a las Nubes is one of the three world’s highest railway, which passes through breathtaking mountains of the Andes between landscapes. Part of the city of Salta, crosses the valley of Lerma, to enter the Quebrada del Toro and get to the Puna. The final point is the 1350 km where the viaduct The Polvorilla of 224 meters long by 63 high. It is the highest in the entire line of the convoy, at 4200 m. and one of the largest in the world for its characteristics. The train runs almost fifteen hours round trip, crossing 29 bridges, 21 tunnels, 13 viaducts, 2 spirals, and two zig-zags.
